Celebration of Learning and PSA’S

Students chose a Lewis Hine photo of a child laborer and studied the working conditions that child may have experienced.  They wrote journals as if they were that child, and even drew their own artist rendition of the photo.

For our Celebration of Learning students put on a living exhibit museum where they dressed up and took on the role of the child in the photo.  Guests asked them questions about their life, their job, and their working conditions.

After studying about child labor in the past.  We studied modern day child labor. Students planned and created Public Service Announcements as a potential solution to child labor inequalities worldwide.  Click on the link below to listen to their PSA’s.
